2008 Halloween Costume Contest During the month of October we held our second Halloween Costume Contest. We thank all of our clients who participated. We got a lot of great pictures of patients that just looked adorable. Our winner, however, was Emma Currie. She is a 9 year old Boxer who looks terrific as Phantom of the Opera. We chose Emma because the costume was perfect for her. You see, Emma has been through alot the past year. She was found to have cancer on her nose. Through surgery and radiation at Medvet, some homotoxicology medications, as well as a lot of love from her people family, she is doing great with no signs of recurrance. Unfortunately, the radiation left her face scarred and hairless over the right side, which the mask covers. She is still as cute as ever, and we love her none-the-less!
