We follow the recommendations of the Companion Animal Parasite Council. CAPC recommends monthly deworming and fecal examinations 2 to 4 times a year to help eradicate intestinal parasites and heartworms in pets. This also benefits humans since some parasites are contageous to us-- especially our children, who may not have great hygeine yet.
